About Me.

I am a seasoned Tax Accountant with extensive experience in individual and small business tax preparation, planning, and compliance. I specialize in helping clients navigate the complexities of federal, state, and local tax codes with confidence and clarity. My work is grounded in a proactive, detail-oriented approach—one that emphasizes accuracy, minimizes liabilities, and reduces audit risk while supporting long-term financial stability.

With a deep understanding of evolving tax regulations, I partner closely with each client to identify savings opportunities, tailor effective strategies, and ensure all filings are compliant and timely. I believe in building trust through clear communication, personalized service, and consistent reliability. Whether it’s preparing annual returns, providing year-round tax planning, or guiding small business owners through formation and compliance, my goal is to empower clients with peace of mind and financial confidence.

Before founding Beagle Tax LLC, I gained valuable experience in both corporate and public accounting settings. I worked at a variety of firms—from a smaller, hands-on practice to one of the top 75 public accounting firms in the nation. This diverse experience gave me a broad perspective on client needs and industry standards. I eventually returned to the corporate accounting world as I laid the groundwork for my own firm. This decision allowed me to launch Beagle Tax LLC with integrity and full autonomy, free from any conflicts of interest that could interfere with my commitment to earning my CPA license and building a practice rooted in transparency and excellence.

Today, I bring all of that experience into my firm, offering clients not just tax services—but a strategic partnership built on ethics, education, and results.

In my free time, I have volunteered at York County SPCA since May 2024 and stay up to date with the Beagle Freedom Project and their dedication to end testing on Beagles. I also enjoy crocheting, 3D printing, and hiking at state parks with my beagle named Herbie, who was the inspiration for the name of Beagle Tax LLC and our tagline of "Sniffing Out Savings".

Education

MS Accounting: Taxation
Liberty University

After earning my two Bachelor's degrees, it was clear to me that I wished to continue my education by pursing a Master's that had a focus on Taxation. With recent changes to the CPA exams at the beginning of 2024, I wanted to see the outcome of those before pursing my CPA exam journey. As of May 2025, my Master's degree is 40% complete and put on hold while I pursue my CPA exams. Since I already have met the educational and experience requirements for a CPA license in my state, the exams are the last step I need to complete before applying for my CPA license. After completing these exams, I do plan to complete my Master's in Accounting: Taxation.

BS Accounting & Data Analysis
BS BA: Finance
Liberty University

I earned two Bachelor’s degrees, one in Accounting & Data Analysis and one in Business Administration: Finance. While studying at Liberty University, I developed a strong foundation in financial reporting, tax preparation, auditing, and business law. I consistently achieved academic honors while also holding full time employment in relevant fields. I also gained hands-on experience using accounting software such as QuickBooks and Excel, which sharpened my skills in data analysis and financial statement preparation. My education helped me build a detail-oriented, analytical mindset and a deep understanding of regulatory compliance—skills that I continue to apply in my professional work.
